RACING HISTORY

2000 At age 6 - 7

Drew starts racing at the Columbus Indoor Series - runs a full season at the Local Willowdell Speedway winning 7 of 16 races in Rookie I Class (7 to 10 year olds) and is tops in his class

2001 At age 7 - 8

Drew races a full season at Willowdell Speedway in the move up Rookie II Class (8 to 12 year olds with experience) and wins 5 races and comes in 2nd place in points to a 12 year old in a very close points race - total winnings over $700

2002 At age 8 - 9

Drew races a full season at Waynesfield Motorsports Park and wins 8 races there and finished 2nd in points again in a very close Jr. Sportsman I Class (8 to 12 year olds) to a 12 year old - other accomplishments include:

*Wins a total of 16 features during this calendar year

*Total winnings over $1600

*Winner of the Fall Classic at the historic Lawenceburg Indiana 1/4 mile track

*Winner of the Fall Special at the Stateline Speedway in Edon, Ohio

*Winner of the Capital City Classic fall indoor special in Columbus, Ohio

2003 At age 9 - 10

Drew had a dream season with 30 feature wins and 6 championships including:

*Burris Northern National Points Champion in Jr. Sportsman I Class winning 4 of 6 races

*Season Points Champion in Jr. Sportsman I at Waynesfield Motorsports Park winning 9 of 14 races

*Season Points Champion in Jr. Sportsman II Class (10 to 12 year olds) at Middletown Motorsports Park winning 7 of 12 races

*WKA (World Karting Association) Ohio Divisional Points Champion in Jr. Sportsman I Lite Class

*WKA (World Karting Association) Ohio Divisional Points Champion in Jr. Sportsman I Heavy Class

*Columbus Indoor Series Winner with 4 of 5 victories

*Winner of the Fall Classic at the historic Lawenceburg Indiana 1/4 mile track for 2nd year in a row

*Total winnings over $3500

*Qualified for his 1st WKA National event finishing 7th

*Qualified for his 2nd WKA National event at Daytona with a pole, 3rd, 4th, and 8th starting position in the Jr. Sportsman Champ and Jr. Sportsman II Classes - Drew led three of the four races, two of those leading the most laps. There were between 65 & 90 karts entered in each event

2004 At age 10 - 11

*Drew had another dream season with 62 feature wins, one of which was a national WKA feature race win at Aynor, South Carolina.

*Finished Second in the WKA National Points Championship in Jr. Sportsman Champ Heavy Class with one feature win, a divisional win, and two second place finishes.

*Won 10 local, state and regional championships including:

*Waynesfield WKA Junior (age 15 and under) Weekly Racing Series Championship

*Waynesfield Jr. Sportsman Champ Track Championship

*Stateline Speedway Jr. Sportsman II Track Championship (ages 10 - 12)

*Stateline Speedway Jr. Sportsman Champ Track Championship (ages 8 - 12)

*Illinois State Jr. Sportsman Champ Championship

*Indiana State Jr. Sportsman Champ Championship

*WKA Ohio Divisional Jr. Sportsman II Lite Class Champion

*WKA Ohio Divisional Jr. Sportsman II Heavy Class Champion

*WKA Ohio Divisional Jr. Sportsman Champ Lite Class Champion

*WKA Ohio Divisional Jr. Sportsman Champ Heavy Class Champion

2005 At age 11 - 12

Drew has moved up yet more classes running in the Jr. Restricted (12 - 15 year olds), Jr. Champs (12 - 15 year olds), Jr. Animal Champs (12 - 15 year olds), Sr. Champs, Sr. Wazoom (Modified) Champs, and Sr. Open Modified Karts winning 26 features including:

*The Burris Northern National 6 Race Series in the Jr. Restricted Class

*The annual Ft. Wayne Rumble in the Sr. Champ Kart Class

*The Fall Classic at the historic Lawenceburg Indiana 1/4 mile track for 3rd consecutive year (event rained out in 2004)

*Second place finish in the Sr. Champ Blue Wazoom Class Championship Points at Stateline Speedway with 4 wins in the 9 race series

*Second place finish in the Junior Restricted Class Points Race at the Waynesfield Motorsports Park (missing 3 of the points races)

*Third place finish in the Burris Northern National 6 Race Series in the Sr. Open Modified class

*Earnings of nearly $3,500

*In his first ever pavement race, Drew took on the biggest national event at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, placing 8th, 8th and 10th in Jr. Champ classes

*His second pavement race where Drew had two wins, both times defeating the current WKA National Points Leader and recent Charlotte WKA National Feature Winner

*His first ever Junior Restricted Animal race, at the “After Daytona Special” at Conway Speedway in Aynor, South Carolina Drew sat on the pole in all four classes he entered taking home one win, two seconds and one fourth place finish - these were all $300 to $500 to win features - Drew took home the overall pole award as well as earnings of over $600

2006 At age 12 - 13

Drew has moved up yet more kart classes running in the Jr. Restricted (12 - 15 year olds), Sr. Champs, Sr. Light and Medium Weight Classes, USAC Kenyon and National Midgets with the following highlights:

*In his 1st USAC National Midget race, the Ft. Wayne Rumble indoor, Drew qualified 15th, won his heat and finished 6th behind Tony Stewart, Dave Darland, Mike Fedorcek, Ginny Qinones, and Mel Kenyon setting a USAC record as the youngest driver to accomplish this in his first national start

*Places 11th in USAC Kenyon Midget points running the entire series

*Winner of both races in Sr. Champ Double Header at Columbus Ohio Indoor

*Winner of $1000 to win Cabin Fever Showdown Sr. Medium Class at Lake Village Motor Speedway taking the pole and leading every lap

*Winner of the Griffin Warniment Memorial $2500 purse Juniors kart race, his 150th career kart feature win

2007 At age 13 - 14

Drew Takes on the Full USAC Kenyon Midget Development Series Schedule and the Ft. Wayne Indoor Rumble National Midget Race with the following highlights:

*Top qualifier three times

6 heat race wins

*11 top five finishes, 7 coming in the last 11 races

23 top ten finishes in 25 starts with no DNFs

*Fifth place in points, moving up from 8th at mid season and well within sight of 4th and 3rd places

*Drew strikes Driver Development Deal with Jack Bowsher Associates ARCA Team to test an ARCA car on the short tracks in 2008 and race them in 2009 & 2010

2008 At age 14 - 15

Drew again will take on the Full USAC Kenyon Midget Development Series Schedule with the tools it takes to challenge for the Championship

As of 6 USAC Kenyon Midget races into the schedule Drew has 2 feature wins, 2 2nds, a fifth and an 11th (got crashed) with 2 heat wins and within 1 point of the championship points lead

Drew tests hundreds of laps in his 800 hp team owned ARCA Dodge with Jack Bowsher Associates driver Todd Bowsher as coach/mentor
