Looking a lot like the heat race with Drew’s 4th place start, he had to work his way by two cars before he could challenge for the lead. By the time he cleared the second place car Drew was two seconds behind the leader. By lap 21 Drew had caught the leader and put his Century 21 Master Key Realty, Mid America Properties, Aluma Trailers, Amsoil Kenyon Midget under the leader, the third place points car of Jeff Wimmenauer, and took the lead. It was short lived and became a physical battle as the #15 Wimmenauer car pushed Drew into the infield grass and regained the lead. Drew held on, and on the next lap took to the outside and had the pass nearly complete again only to get slammed into the front stretch wall as the #15 car lost it on the inside and slid up into Drew. With a heavily damaged car Drew headed home in second place in points tonight. The next race is Anderson on June 27, 2008.
