Anderson Speedway, June 27, 2008 - After major repairs including a complete front axle assembly, two wheels, two tires, two shocks, and other minor repairs and a complete re-setup of the car Drew took to the high banks of Anderson Speedway with the normal vigor ending hot laps third fastest.

Qualifying saw a letdown as we made an adjustment that Drew and the car didn’t like ending up 6th. This set Drew up for a 3rd place start in the heat and a sixth place feature start. The Kenyon racers have somehow found that rough driving is tolerated by USAC and Drew was the recipient of some of that rough driving jamming him high where he fell into 4th place and with the blocking going on by two rookie drivers in front he had to settle for the 4th place finish.

Severe weather had been lurking all night and finally it rolled in come feature time to cancel that event for the night. The feature will be run at the next race at Anderson and make it another double feature night.

Drew is appearing with his ARCA Dodge at St. Mary’s Chrysler Dodge Jeep at their annual Charity Car Show on Saturday June 28th. If plans come together Drew will have his ARCA Dodge at several appearances in Iowa the week of the fourth of July. There is a 10 day break till Drew’s next race at Anderson Speedway on Wednesday July 9th.
